Pastern Straps

The pastern strap helps prevent the boot from being pulled off by an overreach or sucked off in mud. It isn’t intended to be the boot’s primary means of retention. Made from strong, flexible thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), the strap stretches under load and, when fitted correctly, won’t restrict the horse’s pastern. Multiple adjustment holes help you find the right fit for different pastern thicknesses.
