Poultice Kit
R 1,200.00
A farrier kit for a foot that needs poulticing and cannot take a shoe.
The kit has one Crokpad, one poultice pad, two Elastoplast and two vet wraps. The poultice pad is a 12mm glycerine pad for the hoof. The Crokpad sits with it so the foot has a compliant surface while it is being treated. Elastoplast and vet wrap hold the dressing on.
Use it on a remedial foot for abscesses, sole bruising, corns, nail punctures or inflammation, when the foot will not hold a nail. Fit it as part of the dressing your farrier has set. The poultice pad can be left on for 2 to 3 days. Store the pad in a cool dry place.
It is a farrier tool, not a cure.
